The natives that went off to college came back a different people. They forgot the ancient ways. They no longer knew how to hunt, speak the language correctly, and couldn't handle the cold or hunger. They were good for nothing. We can instruct your sons and make them into real men.
The colonists came to America wanting to "fix" the natives. They believed that the Natives needed adapt to the new culture that was presented to them. The colonists dismissed the traditions and beliefs of the people, because the white man always knows best, right? The Natives didn't need to change their ways. The settlers believed the Natives were foolish and stupid and they needed to be properly educated. They should have never disregarded the people, they should have found a way to live in peace and respect each other's differences.
